Toyota Humanoid Robot Runs At 7 Km/hr

The Honda's Asimo robot has been around for some time now. That's the main reason the first humanoid robot from Toyota might not seem like much of technology breaktrough. But after I watched this video, I give the Toyota guys who designed this AI robot the well-earned props. For the moment, the Toyota AI robot can only operate on conventional flat surfaces, but I'm sure they will fix this problem in the near future. I'm not really sure why the big money companies are suddenly jumping into the humanoid robot market. It's just the natural competitive pressure on the market or there is a real reason behind these AI-Robots discoveries? I guess we'll learn the real reason in the near future. You can notice that in the slow-motion the moving foot stays perfectly parallel about an inch above the ground as it goes forward to become the forward leading foot. That is very impresive.

Atheist Now Accepts Intelligent Design

The bacterial flagellum is a molecular-scale mechanical rotary motor. No human nanotechnology can yet match its exquisite precision. Now some scientists are beginning to have doubts about the theory of evolution and embrace a new theory that an intelligent being must be designing all the biological forms of planet Earth. Oboe: Japanese Robot To Make Human Memories Immortal

It is said that sometimes fiction is stranger than life. This is one of those cases, because this robot will convince you that real life is in most cases the strangest of all. We humans are not immortal, so it’s important that we - or our memories live on somehow after our bodies turn to worm food. When it comes to strange things, the Japanese are the first in line to give as a solution. What is OBOE? Oboe is a robot made with sole purpose of carrying human thoughts through time. The Oboe was designed by Arnaud Deloustal as a robot that would ‘hang-out’ with the elderly and carry memories of them. Oboe would store within it all the information that is to be gained about the certain individual. This way as much of their “essence” as possible will live on. You can see how the future might play out with “Oboe”. We continue to live, in a sense, in robot form. Oboe is designed so that memories of an individual live on long after the person is gone. This is not really a case of artificial i...
